The Role

As a Staff Engineer on the Full Stack HITL team, you will define how humans and AI agents collaborate across kAIgentic’s enterprise platform. You’ll shape the interaction paradigms that make agentic AI safe, auditable, and effective in high-stakes financial environments—where 100% autonomy is a risk, not a goal.

What You’ll Do

• Define the long-term vision for kAIgentic’s human-agent collaboration architecture; architect the metaprogrammed UI framework where interfaces reconfigure dynamically based on agent intent and task context
• Design the “Control Plane” experience philosophy—humans as supervisors, not just approvers; own the interrupt-and-resume architecture ensuring agents can pause, hand off rich context, ingest human feedback, and continue seamlessly
• Define the audit-by-design framework capturing UI state snapshots at every decision point for regulatory compliance; architect the streaming interaction layer for real-time agent reasoning display at scale
• Design patterns for progressive disclosure of agent complexity—simple approvals for routine tasks, deep reasoning inspection for edge cases; establish the “Bulk Action” architecture ensuring mass operations maintain individual audit integrity
• Define frontend architecture standards and patterns across all product teams; influence product direction based on deep understanding of human-AI interaction
• Evaluate emerging technologies in AI interfaces and agent UX; mentor leads and senior engineers on HITL system design; represent kAIgentic’s HITL capabilities to enterprise customers

What You’ll Bring

• 12+ years of experience in full stack engineering with deep frontend expertise; AI-native velocity as a default mode of working (mandatory); expert-level mastery of React, TypeScript, and frontend architecture
• Strong backend proficiency in Go and Python; deep expertise in 4+ of the following:
• Schema-driven and metaprogrammed UI systems; enterprise SaaS platform UI architecture; human-in-the-loop and human-in-the-middle system design
• Real-time collaborative interfaces; workflow visualization and state management at scale; design system architecture and component frameworks
• Audit trail systems and compliance-driven UX; integration with durable execution engines; experience designing UIs for regulated, high-stakes environments; track record of defining UI architecture adopted across multiple teams
• Strong product sense and ability to advocate for user experience; exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
