Security Operations

About kAIgentic

kAIgentic is building the intelligence layer for the world’s most ambitious enterprises. Headquartered in Singapore with teams in India and Japan, we help large organizations evolve as fast as technology itself by turning the tacit know-how locked inside their people into safe, governed, AI-powered operations.

The hardest part of enterprise transformation is not strategy. It is execution. Institutional knowledge lives in people’s heads, systems are fragmented, and risk tolerance is low. kAIgentic captures how work actually happens, designs better workflows, and runs them inside an intelligence layer that is observable, auditable, and engineered for the most regulated environments on earth. The outcome is an enterprise that continuously improves, instead of lurching through slow, costly transformation cycles.

We are backed by SMBC Group as our founding partner and customer zero, and our platform is already being proven inside one of the most complex, regulated operating environments in the world. That means real problems, real data, and real production impact from Day 1.

Senior Security Operations Engineer

The Role

As a Senior Security Operations Engineer, you will own the live defense of kAIgentic’s intelligence layer. You will run our detection, response, and threat-hunting practice across cloud, endpoint, identity, SaaS, and AI surfaces, and keep the platform that financial institutions depend on safe in production every single day.

This is a pure SecOps role. Operational, technical, and high-trust. You will build the detection stack, tune the signal, hunt the threats other tools miss, run incidents to closure, and codify every learning into runbooks, automations, and controls. As we scale into more regulated customers, you will be the engineer who keeps the lights green inside an attack surface that is, by design, AI-native and unusually dynamic.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end detection engineering across cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity (Okta, Entra), endpoints, SaaS, and AI pipelines, including detections for prompt injection, model abuse, RAG poisoning, and tool-call misuse.
  • Run incident response end to end: triage, containment, eradication, recovery, customer communication, and the post-incident review that makes the next incident smaller.
  • Lead proactive threat hunting against high-value targets across infrastructure, identity, code repositories, secrets, and AI pipelines.
  • Tune and operate the SIEM, EDR, CSPM, and SOAR stack. Move noisy alerts to automated decisions and keep human judgment where it matters.
  • Build the SecOps automation layer in Python and SOAR playbooks: enrichments, response actions, evidence capture, ticketing, and customer notifications.
  • Operate vulnerability management end to end: prioritization, patch SLAs, exception handling, and validation. Hold engineering accountable for fixing what matters.
  • Run identity threat detection and response (ITDR), including session anomalies, OAuth abuse, MFA fatigue, and AI assistant or service-account token misuse.
  • Own the on-call rotation, incident drills, tabletops, and game days. Keep the muscle in shape across the team.
  • Partner with platform, infrastructure, and AI engineering teams to harden model, agent, and tool surfaces against new classes of attack and abuse.
  • Translate operational learnings into hardened controls, detections, and policies, and feed clean evidence into audit and customer trust workflows when needed.
  • Use AI fluently across detection authoring, alert triage, incident drafting, and threat enrichment to operate with higher leverage and tighter cycle times.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years in security operations, detection and response, incident response, or threat hunting. This is not a GRC or audit role.
  • AI-native velocity as a default mode of working (mandatory). Comfortable using AI in day-to-day work to write detections, accelerate triage, draft incident artefacts, and move faster with judgment.
  • Strong Python or equivalent scripting skills for detection engineering, automation, and tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its security primitives: IAM, KMS, GuardDuty / Defender, VPC, and audit logging.
  • Hands-on experience operating SIEM (Splunk, Sumo, Elastic, Panther, or similar), EDR (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Defender, or similar), and SOAR.
  • Proven track record of running real incidents to closure end to end, including communication under pressure.
  • Strong fundamentals: TCP/IP, TLS, OS internals, OAuth / OIDC, Kubernetes basics, and modern attack chains.
  • Calm under pressure. High-judgment, low-drama operator who improves the team’s composure rather than draining it.

Nice to have

  • Detection and response experience in regulated industries such as financial services, fintech, regtech, or healthcare.
  • Familiarity with AI-specific attack surfaces: prompt injection, model exfiltration, agent abuse, RAG poisoning, and tool-call misuse.
  • Purple-team or offensive security background (OSCP, GPEN, GCIH, or equivalent practical work).
  • GCFA, GCIH, GCDA, GCFR, OSDA, or equivalent SecOps certification.
  • Experience standing up or significantly maturing a SecOps function inside a startup.

What great looks like

Early win. You replace the noisiest, lowest-value detections with high-fidelity ones, and meaningfully shorten mean time to triage on the alert classes that matter most.

In a year. You have built a measurably mature SecOps function. Detections cover the attack surfaces that matter, incident response is rehearsed and fast, AI-specific threats have first-class coverage, and our customers feel safer because of the work you do.

Lead, Finance & Compliance

About kAIgentic

kAIgentic is building the intelligence layer for the world’s most ambitious enterprises. Headquartered in Singapore with teams in India and Japan, we help large organizations evolve as fast as technology itself by turning the tacit know-how locked inside their people into safe, governed, AI-powered operations.

The hardest part of enterprise transformation is not strategy. It is execution. We are backed by SMBC Group as our founding partner and customer zero, and our platform is already being proven inside one of the most complex, regulated operating environments in the world. That means real problems, real data, and real production impact from Day 1.

The Role

As Lead of Finance & Compliance, you’ll build the financial operating layer at kAIgentic from scratch: the controls, close calendar, and audit posture that let an enterprise AI company scale across India, Singapore, and Japan. You’ll own finance, compliance, and governance for the India entity, and you’ll partner with leadership on the cross-border setup connecting our Singapore and Japan presence. This is a founder-adjacent role with broad ownership and external visibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Own finance operations, accounting, reconciliations, and monthly closes for the India entity, in line with applicable accounting standards and group reporting requirements.
  • Run GST, TDS, statutory filings, payroll, and tax compliance end-to-end; manage auditors, tax consultants, payroll providers, and bankers as a single accountable owner across India and Singapore.
  • Coordinate transfer pricing documentation and operational workflows between India and Singapore, working alongside external advisors.
  • Build the financial control plane and internal controls: approval workflows, expense policies, vendor and procurement SOPs, accounting systems and tooling, and the safeguards that protect company assets and mitigate financial risk.
  • Run cash flow operations, AR/AP discipline, banking, and treasury workflows; deliver timely, clean financial data that supports leadership decisions and group reporting.
  • Lead enterprise customer audit, security, and compliance responses, which are now a core part of the enterprise deal cycle.

What You’ll Bring

  • You’re a CA with 6 to 10 years across finance, compliance, controllership, or finance operations.
  • You’ve scaled finance operations inside a SaaS company or a startup, ideally one that grew meaningfully through revenue or headcount inflection while you were there.
  • You bring strong command of GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting, and you’re hands-on with accounting platforms like Tally, NetSuite, or similar.
  • You’ve operated inside cross-border structures and understand how Indian compliance interacts with Singapore, Japan, or other parent and subsidiary setups.
  • You’re hands-on by default. You build the systems you need without waiting for someone else to build them for you.
  • You hold a high bar on documentation, audit trails, and process rigor; it’s how great companies run. You can independently manage audits, customer compliance reviews, and external partners with calm and follow-through.

Principal Product Manager, AI Transformation Platform

The Role

As a Principal Product Manager, you will set the long-term product direction for kAIgentic’s intelligence layer and own the highest-leverage problems in turning manual, document-driven enterprise work into adaptive learning systems. You will be the product authority for how we reimagine workflows that move billions, including credit origination, risk approvals, and KYC/AML, starting in financial services and expanding across industries.

This is a role for someone who has built and shipped category-defining enterprise platforms before, who can hold vision and execution in the same hand, and who can sit credibly across a CFO, a Chief Risk Officer, a Head of Engineering, and a regulator in the same week. You will define what good looks like in this new category, set the bar for PM craft inside kAIgentic, and grow the team behind you into it.

What You’ll Do

  • Set the multi-year product vision and strategy for kAIgentic’s AI Transformation Platform, including the operating thesis, target outcomes, and the path beyond banking.
  • Own the highest-stakes product surfaces end to end. Turn workflows that move billions, including credit origination, risk approvals, and KYC/AML, into measurable outcomes: adoption, cycle-time reduction, STP %, risk defect rate, and ROI.
  • Architect the product design of multi-agent workflows across BPMN, Temporal, and ServiceNow, integrating with core banking (Temenos, Finacle), CRM and LOS (Salesforce, nCino), data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks), KYC/AML, and Microsoft 365 / Teams / Power Platform, and connecting to ERP (SAP, Oracle) for finance and reconciliation touchpoints.
  • Define and uphold the LLMOps and MLOps standard for the platform: prompt and version management, offline and online evaluations, telemetry, rollback, hallucination and risk grading, and safety testing.
  • Embed Responsible AI and Compliance-by-Design principles (NIST AI RMF, auditability, explainability, data residency, PII controls, ambient audit) into every product surface and into how the product team thinks.
  • Run discovery with global enterprise customers, surface tacit knowledge, codify it into reusable playbooks, and convert it into product primitives that compound across customers. Shape GTM at the strategic level: pricing and packaging, SI and ISV alliances, marketplaces, and co-sell motions. Represent the product to C-suite, Compliance, Model Risk, and regulator forums.
  • Set the bar for PM craft at kAIgentic. Mentor senior PMs, evolve our writing and review standards, and create the conditions where small teams ship outsized outcomes.
  • Influence technical direction across product, engineering, and AI research, and serve as a trusted thought partner to founders and the exec team.Build the category externally. Speak, write, and engage analysts and design partners to help define what continuously improving enterprise intelligence means.

  • Hands-on familiarity with LLMOps and MLOps, evaluation pipelines, and guardrails for AI safety, fairness, and reliability, deep enough to set the bar.
  • Strategic and execution-driven in equal measure. Comfortable setting a three-year vision in the morning and reviewing a PRD in the afternoon.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator who is trusted in front of CXOs, regulators, auditors, and engineers. A track record of growing and mentoring senior PMs into great ones.

Nice to have

  • Banking or risk domain expertise across credit, KYC/AML, credit policy, or Ringi-style approvals.
  • Experience engaging Japanese stakeholders and navigating cross-cultural enterprise governance.
  • Working knowledge of data security, privacy, and regulatory tech stacks (GDPR, Basel, KYC/AML).
  • Public artefacts: talks, papers, or design partnerships that show category leadership.

Staff Engineer, Full Stack (HITL)

The outcome is an enterprise that continuously improves.

We are backed by SMBC Group as our founding partner and customer zero, and our platform is already being proven inside one of the most complex, regulated operating environments in the world. That means real problems, real data, and real production impact from Day 1.

The Role

As a Staff Engineer on the Full Stack HITL team, you will define how humans and AI agents collaborate across kAIgentic’s enterprise platform. You’ll shape the interaction paradigms that make agentic AI safe, auditable, and effective in high-stakes financial environments—where 100% autonomy is a risk, not a goal.

What You’ll Do

  • Define the long-term vision for kAIgentic’s human-agent collaboration architecture; architect the metaprogrammed UI framework where interfaces reconfigure dynamically based on agent intent and task context
  • Design the “Control Plane” experience philosophy—humans as supervisors, not just approvers; own the interrupt-and-resume architecture ensuring agents can pause, hand off rich context, ingest human feedback, and continue seamlessly
  • Define the audit-by-design framework capturing UI state snapshots at every decision point for regulatory compliance; architect the streaming interaction layer for real-time agent reasoning display at scale
  • Design patterns for progressive disclosure of agent complexity—simple approvals for routine tasks, deep reasoning inspection for edge cases; establish the “Bulk Action” architecture ensuring mass operations maintain individual audit integrity
  • Define frontend architecture standards and patterns across all product teams; influence product direction based on deep understanding of human-AI interaction
  • Evaluate emerging technologies in AI interfaces and agent UX; mentor leads and senior engineers on HITL system design; represent kAIgentic’s HITL capabilities to enterprise customers
